Considering the severe shortages of Personal Protective Equipment - PPE being faced by regional and global health organizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an innovative solution emerged to make a valuable contribution. This contribution would enable individuals to produce their own emergency PPE masks using home printers with a minimum 20 cm x 20 cm printing area. A key driving factor behind this initiative is the ability of people to print these facial protectors at home, thereby empowering vulnerable groups like the elderly to safeguard themselves when venturing out for essential services such as vaccine appointments or visits to pharmacies and supermarkets. The primary goal is to shield both the wearer and those around them from potential harm. This project is currently in its beta phase and offers room for improvement over time.
