Therefore, it is crucial to use personal protective equipment (PPE), which reduces the likelihood of infection. Due to a massive dissemination of face masks, a group consisting of bioengineers, medical therapists, and infectious disease specialists, industrial designers, among others, formed to converge on a mask that meets the needs and analyze various aspects from a multidisciplinary perspective.
