MyTie3D is a revolutionary modular 3D printed necktie designed to push the boundaries of configurable assemblies. Created using PTC Creo, this innovative product showcases the power of additive manufacturing in overcoming manufacturing complexity while retaining design and data management challenges. Version 0.7 boasts two interchangeable blades: the classic necktie and the sleek skinny tie, each available in a variety of designs, including solid colors, reversible patterns, or ornate details. The blade's modular nature allows for endless customization options. The neck loop system offers three distinct styles: short hooks for a secure fit, long hooks for added comfort, and a full loop with a ziptie on the back of the neck for easy adjustability. To complete the look, MyTie3D features three unique knot designs: the classic flat knot, a futuristic super geeky knot adorned with planetary gears, and a sophisticated knot with a central hole and locking interface. This versatile product caters to diverse tastes, allowing users to insert 3D printed or non-printed objects into the locking interface for added personalization. The internal geometry of each knot ensures seamless attachment and adjustment of the neck loop, guaranteeing a comfortable and stylish wearing experience.
