MySweety 1610 CNC Vacuum Dust Shoe
thingiverse
My experiments with this thing suggest it does not move enough air for the job. A more conventional dust collector would be a better idea. I'll leave it here in case it can be made into something more useful (Compressed air sprayer, perhaps?) This is a dust collector clamp for a MySweety 1610 CNC engraver. It will probably work with most similar engravers using the 775 motor, since they all seem to use the same injection molded Z axis bracket. It uses a large diameter bendy straw (one of these: for the part most likely to come to grief in the cutter or from colliding with the work. It also uses 15mm ID cpap hose to connect the straw to the dust collection system (vacuum cleaner). Other tubing will probably work. I //have// CPAP hose. This is version 1.2. It fixes a geometry problem in the straw holder and enlarges the gap between the bolt lugs. A longer bolt than specified may be required. I have not yet printed this version. Please don't laugh too hard at my FreeCAD skills. :P I used these straws: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074CKF98D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
