A student's passion project comes alive in the fusion of Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter! Given a blank slate - a chest devoid of any visual intrigue - I seized the opportunity to unleash my creativity by adding a splash of oceanic flair, carefully placing seaweed tendrils and barnacles to give it a weathered look. With my design taking shape in Maya, I then brought it into Substance Painter where the real magic happened - a meticulous process of texturing that transformed the chest into a rugged treasure trove, its surface worn by the relentless pounding of waves.
