February 20, 2021 Perseverance has barely settled on Martian soil for two days when NASA's celebrations come crashing down. Shattering images of a decaying figure emerge from the space agency, leaving all in shock and awe. The skeletal remains show a helmet-like structure with a gaping wound on the head, deep slashes across the bone structure, and a missing arm. When asked to comment on this gruesome discovery, NASA officials remain tight-lipped, their response brief but telling: "We really need to get Matt Damon off Mars as soon as possible."
