recording begin inventory check; 6x arms 8x legs 3x torsos 1x head (damaged beyond recovery) 40x weapons (Instruments? tools? inert, unusable) 7x jars of mystery substance 1x a intact memory processor(decryption needed) 1.)Bizarre components found floating in space around a lone space craft vaguely mollusc like in design, by the markings and quality of the remains we determined that these are the body parts of some sort of bipedal machine, a automaton of some kind? in the past we read about and researched relics associated with the Crown, but these don't feel the same, energy signatures and identification scans come up as unfamiliar...this is something entirely different, something new. 2.)Dissection of one of the arm's wires yielded a mercury-like fluid that was immediately contained in a airtight tube, further scans of the ship outside detect no signs of life or movement aboard, some more parts were found inside but they bear no resemblance to the completed specimen we assembled together. The ship in the asteroid belt near Sphereus Magna, matches similar sightings and reports around the outer rims of the system...inactive and empty, no signs of life, similar architecture, but they appear to be asleep...if they are waiting for something...what could it be?
