This enigmatic fired clay mass with clear finger impressions was unearthed archaeologically from a residential site in western Fairfax County, Virginia, dating back to the 18th century. It was meticulously scanned using a Go!Scan 50 scanner within the archaeology laboratory of the Archaeology and Collections Branch of the Fairfax County Park Authority on February 16, 2018.
