#mySion - seperate wheels on steel axis and without text
thingiverse
Sono Motors (tm) has provided an STL model of their solar car with #mySion. Since I had some support material issues with FDM printing and would like moving wheels, I took the remix model from Nerdhector. I made several changes to this model: First, I added open grooves for the front and rear axle. Next, I removed the text "#mySion" since it was hanging in mid-air. Then, I cut the model flat at the bottom. Finally, I drilled blind holes into the tires for the axle. To create the axes, I shortened two nails with a diameter of about 2.5mm to a length of 38mm. You can attach the wheels either by just pushing them on or by using glue depending on how well they fit.
