This is a screw-on hard case version of the gearbox cover that protects exposed gears from damage caused by rocks, dirt, sand, grass, and other hazards. It also shares screws and a hex nut with the center platform, eliminating the need for extra hardware. The design fits 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 gear ratios, allowing you to print it in the same color as the gearbox body to conceal the gears or choose a transparent PLA to showcase their beauty.
