**MyRCCar 1/10 Tesla Model S On-Road / Touring RC Car Body** Hi all again! I'm super excited to share with you my new on-road rc car body, a lightweight multipart Tesla Model S body, featuring 3D printed windows and lights. I hope the details will catch your eye! The source for this model is 3D Warehouse. I've tried to divide the body into sections with minimal visible marks, but it's not perfect. **The largest part is the central one**, which requires a 200x200x225mm printing volume. I used my trusty Anet A8 printer to print everything, and maybe someday I'll upgrade to a 3000€ 3D printer! To get all the parts for the build, you'll need to show me your "big" parts printed in a "make" of the thing you upload to Thingiverse. Don't worry, it's free! Just remember to be kind and respectful, as I've been working on this project for over a month. Every time I start a new project, I look for ways to use less time but still get great results. **This time I took some shortcuts**, which might cause printing errors, so review your printing previews carefully before printing. The three largest parts have self-intersections, so you may need to use MeshMixer to "make solid" the object and remove any errors. If you really like this project or my other work on Thingiverse, join the MyRCCar Group to search for more information, share your makes and problems with us, and get updates on new projects! **What's under the hood?** This body is mounted on a new 295mm wheelbase MyRCCar (O)BTS ON-ROAD chassis I built using old black parts from my OB(T)S Truggy and some new ones. To fix the central transmission dogbone problem, this chassis uses centered central transmission, allowing plastic axles to do the work correctly. **Is it hard to assemble?** You'll need twelve M3x10-12mm long screws and some good glue for most of the parts. The lights have a place for 1x5mm LED + 1x3mm LED in each front light, and 2x5mm LEDs + 1x3mm LED in each rear light. You can use thermo-glue to fix them inside their holes. I've put extra hours into the rear lights, which should/could get illuminated similar to the real Tesla, but need some painting. You'll need the front covers to get the front lights in place, so the details will be less visible. **Mounting the body** You can mount the body over the OBTS 295wb chassis using two extra lateral parts. If you plan to do this, it's easier if you do it before gluing your windows. You can use a little Allen tool anyway. Now only the S from the OBTS chassis needs some attention. Remember, you can build a buggy or truggy with the OBTS Chassis, but there is no "S" Short Course Truck build by now... Maybe another designer will make the necessary parts for a SCT body shell! **MyRCCar is the word my friend!** I hope you enjoy this project and share your makes and problems with us in the MyRCCar Group. Happy building!
