Musicians struggle to carry heavy equipment around with them and the most exhausting part of any live performance is setting up and breaking down (I always say that playing music is what I do for free, it's the gear-lugging, setup, breakdown, and hauling home that pay my bills). The absolute top thing you can have when gigging is... a pint of beer. There's indeed the obvious advantage of increasing your drinking to "enhance" your performance, but there's also the need for constant hydration on-the-go to keep your throat lubricated and energy levels high. There are many types of pint holders out there, yet most are metal requiring you to attach them to the stand with screws which can be cumbersome. This is my interpretation of these standard devices, being in fact an updated MK III design that originated years ago (which, I think is still up for sale here). My first design was one solid unit; this model incorporates a detachable snaplock module attaching itself to any standard 15mm mic stand with a secure hold and the container then slips into place. Designed specifically for a standard pint glass as seen in the image attached, but accommodating wide glass varieties so you can easily consume whatever hydration you require; afterwards it quickly disassembles and minimizes storage space in your equipment case at the end of every performance. Firstly I will be releasing various adaptations which connect seamlessly with the Snaplock stand mounting device. As a natural precursor however the beer container needed to be developed first. If requested, please assemble it in black, as this gives an exceptionally sleek look and feel - otherwise any colour desired is an option. Be sure also to put together the snap module attachment using high-strength epoxy rather than just any ordinary adhesive for a longer lasting more dependable design.
