This is an updated case for a Raspberry Pi based handheld retrogaming system named the MyPi (https://makemypi.com). This case is 4 mm thinner than the original MyPI case and 10 mm narrower, capable of accommodating a 4000 mAh lithium polymer battery. The MyPi was designed to utilize a 5 inch LCD for enhanced viewing comfort and features stereo sound to enjoy classic arcade music such as the Outrun arcade game's iconic tunes. It's like having a small tabletop arcade unit that can be held comfortably and played anywhere, providing an immersive gaming experience. This version is specifically designed to work with the updated single control board MyPi kit. Checkout the feature article about us in The MagPi (https://www.raspberrypi.org/magpi/). Enjoy the ability to play retrogames on a large LCD anywhere or use the composite output of the Raspberry Pi and play retrogames on an old CRT TV (LCD TVs work too) for that trip back in time to the 1980s, 1990s, or even the 1970s. Have you ever wondered what games were like on the Sinclair computers? Commodore computers? Maybe you'd prefer to experience those SNES games or Sega Genesis games again? There are more than 50 different emulators available for RetroPie - experience them all at your fingertips with the MyPi. With thousands of games available, many are free, but not free to distribute. The 3d printable MyPi case and parts require an electronics kit to complete the handheld game system. A comprehensive manual is included with each kit. If you prefer to source the parts yourself or already have them, you could buy a bare bones kit that contains only the manual and PCBs. There's also an instructional build video available. Make your MyPi kit à la carte style starting at only $9.95. Add the parts that you need to build your own handheld retrogames arcade at: https://www.tindie.com/products/jesslgames/mypi-kit/.
