Updated on August 31, 2014: A version with a snugger fit has been added, potentially minimizing wobble and enhancing precision slightly. If you're searching for the E3D v6 mount, it can be found here: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/mymaki-hotend-mount-for-e3d-v6-on-makibox. This mount is specifically designed to securely hold an E3D v5 hot end while also supporting the rods, ensuring a 90-degree angle between them for improved positional accuracy. The mount works optimally when made using ABS through 3D printing or CNC for enhanced rigidity. Compatibility extends to other "Groovemount" hot ends as well. Although screw-holes are present for maximum tension, zip-ties can also be used effectively for convenience. Design by Davide using FreeCAD. Video demonstration available at http://youtu.be/pH2j_vyahOY. To assemble, print the lower part as it is and the upper part upside down. File and lubricate the pieces to ensure smooth movement on rails. Insert the hotend, aligning the parts with cable ties, toothpicks or screws.
