Myford Super 7 calliper cross slide DRO bracket

Myford Super 7 calliper cross slide DRO bracket

thingiverse

This is a bracket designed to hold one end of a budget-friendly digital caliper, converting it into a Digital Readout (DRO) system on the Myford lathe's cross slide. Along with the printed parts, you will require an M6 screw and a slender M6 nut - a locking nut should suffice; otherwise, you may need to grind down a larger one. Once I've completed the bracket for the other end, I'll post it online as well. There are numerous tutorials available that can guide you in reading the caliper via an Arduino or similar microcontroller.
