MyFlyDream AAT quick release plate
thingiverse
This is a locking plate designed to fit over the MyFlyDream AAT tilt mechanism, allowing for swift release of the antenna for easy swapping with another one. The plate securely locks into place using a robust latch that clips firmly over the bar at the bottom of the AAT tilt mechanism. On my print, this latch was snug and had minimal play, ensuring it held fast without giving way. The latch's strength was such that I couldn't pull the plate away without triggering its release. The plate is printed in two separate parts to avoid any issues with support material, making assembly a breeze. It is held together using two 3mm pan head M3 bolts and a couple of M3 nuts. There are three different sizes of the front plate available, each designed to fit snugly onto the back of whatever you're attaching to the AAT front. One size is minimal in height, ideal for sticking the RX directly to the back of the antenna. The other two sizes are larger, allowing you to stick the RX either to the back of the antenna or to the plate itself.
