Mycnc - A budget, BIG cnc machine.

// Still in construction ! // The objective of the project was to build the bigger cnc, with great performance for the lowest price ! Result : 500-600€ budget, 1400x600mm working area and 1800x1000mm external size. The overall structure is very sturdy and can be even bigger (I have been limited by the size of my workspace). I used the "Tops cnc" z axis for his very cool vaccum system but I am having trouble with the LM8UU bearings that are having a bit of play causing issues on hard millings. Appart from that it works well when there is not too much constraint on the milling bit. (for milling wood it's ok, I had trouble with MDF and bad milling bits). I will put in the future more pictures and informations so that you can understand better how to build it. The design is highly inspired from the "kayuworks cnc V1" so u can see his videos to understand better how to assemble the carriages for exemple. For the build, I used : - 800w Black Decker spindle (50€ in second hand, built in england !) - 80x40mm steel bars (you should better use aluminium bars, they will be more precise and will need less work to put on the machine). - approx. 70 608 2RS bearings.
