My wire rack shelf purse holder.
thingiverse
I made this purse holder for my wife, and I'm hoping it will fit on your wire rack shelf. If you have a shelf with smaller wires about 1" apart, then this purse holder should slip right over the front face. To ensure stability during printing, I added a brim to keep the rear legs in place. Just be sure to trim it away after the print is complete. I also designed a shaft collar mount that fits onto the 25.5mm tube of your wire shelf. You'll need to pick up some small screws and nuts for this part - specifically, 2X12mm and nuts will do the trick. I added a little ring on the inside of the collar to fit into the grooves in the 25.5mm tube. One thing that's tough about working with wire rack tubes is trying to hold the nut in place while you start the screw. That's why I found these brass threaded inserts on Ebay - they're perfect for this job! Just search for "threaded insert m3" and look for ones that use a 3mm screw. I chose a 3mmX 20mm socket head screw, but you might want to try a longer one like 12 or 15mm's. To install the insert, thread a screw into the hole, then thread the insert onto the screw. Screw it down until it embeds itself into its pocket, and then back out the screw - voila! It's embedded, and much easier to work with now. I designed three purse holders in total: ph r.stl is my original design, which fits right over the front face of your wire rack shelf; ph c n.stl uses nuts 2mm's for the shaft collar mount; and ph c i.stl uses threaded inserts 3mm's. All three are designed to be printed with a PLA material using a .2 layer height and 50% infill.
