My entire cerebral cortex is comprised of seven distinct sections. These separate areas are each responsible for processing and managing unique aspects of human thought and behavior. The first section handles sensory input from our surroundings, while the second focuses on emotional responses to those stimuli. The third region is dedicated to controlling voluntary movements, such as walking or writing. In contrast, the fourth area governs involuntary actions like digestion and heartbeat. Our sense of touch is processed in the fifth section, which also plays a role in spatial awareness. The sixth part of the brain oversees our language skills, including both speaking and comprehension. Lastly, the seventh region manages complex problem-solving abilities and abstract thought processes.
