I initially downloaded a free vectorized tree silhouette file via the internet. I converted all the on-line curves into one single click using CorelDraw to lighten the file size. Subsequently, I exported only the silhouette without any "holes" in DXF format. The DXF was then imported into SWorks, where a customized surface state with green color for the body and gravel texture (!) was applied. This resulted in an openwork tree using RealView. Only the shading retained the shape without holes; however, the outline's complexity often suffices. In certain instances, I use circular repetition to add volume. Interesting feedback led me to include SW*.prt files of extruded trees for a drawing. These files also have various scale configurations.
