After completing the construction and adjustment of my smartrap, I encountered issues with Y-axis slippage. To rectify this, I switched to a belt design from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:290851) and added the tensioner from another Thingiverse design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:143410). I had to modify the steps per unit for Y to 100 and X to 186 for accurate printing. At higher speeds, the base proved unstable, so I implemented ideas from a third Thingiverse design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:260187). I also added an fans for ramps, LEDs to the print head. A potential 3D modeling expert could assist in incorporating a fix into the X plate. My next project is to print a LCD case on the printer itself.
