My Simplify3D profiles for the FlashForge Creator Pro
thingiverse
This is not a printable thing, it's my go-to setup for the FlashForge Creator Pro printer - a 10mm cube was added just to satisfy the need for a 3D file! I've decided to share the custom profiles I use for Simplify3D software on my trusty FlashForge Creator Pro. If you haven't given Simplify3D a try yet, I highly recommend checking it out - this software is incredibly versatile and can really take your prints to the next level regardless of what printer you're using. It's pricey at $150 USD, but it's well worth it; they offer a 2-week trial so you can see if it meets your needs. If you've got a FlashForge Creator Pro and are using Simplify3D, I'd love for you to import these profiles and give them a shot. I've tweaked the startup G-code script to keep the printer head in the back right corner while heating up, then extrude a thick line along the back edge of the build plate - about one-third the width of the build plate - to purge the extruder before printing. I've also fiddled with speed settings and heat settings for various filaments; the "standard plastics" file contains speed/temp settings for standard plastics like ABS and PLA, while the "flex materials" file has settings for flexible filaments like TPU/Ninjaflex. These are just my go-to settings - feel free to modify them to your liking and share a remix or make so others can benefit from the settings you've found work best.
