Power Switch Upgrade for Velleman K8400. This custom power switch is designed based on a Conrad Power Switch (501638 model), featuring soldered contacts and a fuse compartment that houses a 3A fuse. Drawing inspiration from other power switches showcased here, I incorporated several innovative elements such as click action, sliding lid, and more. Special thanks to all contributors for their input. The switch box is securely fastened to the left side of the printer, near the front, using standard screws with hex nuts embedded within the box and bolts on the outside. Although the final result isn't flawless (the cable entry point could be optimized for better accessibility, and the height of the fixing part that touches the side panel could be increased by 2 mm), it meets my expectations and fits well overall. To complete the installation, two holes need to be drilled into the side panel.
