My Mini Yoyo

My Mini Yoyo

This is a mini yoyo that a friend recommended I design. In the files included, there's an axle and two yo-yo halves. Yoyo part 1 is a half with no initial on it - you could print two of those and it would work just fine. Yoyo part 2 has my first initial M on it. If suggested, I'll post all the letters of the alphabet in the files, but for now, have fun printing and enjoy! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't matter at all. Supports: It's totally irrelevant. Resolution: 0.2mm is a good starting point. Infill: I highly recommend 100% infill to avoid any issues. Notes: I used 0.2 infill on my prototype, and the yoyo felt too light - it required a gentle but forceful touch to bring it back up. If printed at 100% infill, I'm sure this problem won't occur. Post-Printing After printing, if you're using a delicate string, try sanding down the edges of the halves before gluing everything together. My yoyo fit together perfectly, so I just added a dab of hot glue to hold it all in place. To tie on the string, I tied a bowline knot and applied it to the axle - then glued on the two halves. For the finger loop, I tied a smaller bowline and turned it into a slip knot. Have fun!
