Print two complete Mendel sets using updated files for easier printing. These files break down a Mendel into 24 prints, averaging 2-3 hours per print. Smaller RP parts hold down rafts for larger prints; although not as effective as a heated plate, it works well. Printing without a raft on a hot plate is also possible. Export each "plate" as a separate STL, skeinforge, and print. Original files included 24 plates but joining them allows printing Mendel in six prints if using a larger build plate than Makerbot. Thanks to Ryan P and Cyrozap for fixing broken files and dealing with slow responses. Their fixes were better than initial attempts; email fixes if needed. Enjoy printing!
