My User Group: Office Workers Who Commute with Heavy Handbags Every Day My user group will be comprised of office workers who commute daily with heavy handbags. Specifically, they use corporate and ID cards more often than cash, so they don't need bulky wallets filled with a lot of cash and coins. On the other hand, they demand a money clip with a money pocket (for a few dollars) and many card pockets. CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENTS According to Seoul Finance Company data, office workers have an average of 3.8 credit cards each. Therefore, considering their ID card, I think six card pockets would be sufficient for them. As I needed to secure the cards in the pockets while still making it possible to remove them at the same time, I employed a rubber band to open the card pockets flexibly. This will mimic the appearance of an accordion. In my experience, a plastic clip lacks strength compared to a magnet clip because it retains its form. Therefore, I will use a magnet to secure cash. 4 card pockets → 6 Add a rubber band to the side of the money clip Plastic clip → magnet clip DESIGN GOAL I aim to innovate the original model by improving its simple design and focusing on a few parts. Additionally, all these changes must be suitable for my target user group: office workers.
