This proof-of-concept design enables me to approach the 460 Rowland's performance level discreetly. Although other alterations are necessary, such as adjusting the recoil spring, shock buffer, and fire pin spring, this modification will effectively reduce the substantial recoil of powerful 44 Magnum-like loads. The unique chamber configuration within the internals is crucial for achieving optimal performance. While the Boss comp shares similar chamber specifications, it might be slightly heavier, which could impact the recoil spring tuning. To fully evaluate its efficiency, I must construct one and test it out.
