I Designed this iPhone 6 tripod for shooting amazing time-lapse videos on my trusty iPhone. To ensure a secure fit, I set the clamp diameter to 8.5, which works perfectly with an iPhone cover attached. If you're planning to use it without a cover, you'll need to adjust the diameter to approximately 7.2 by modifying the customizer settings. When attaching your iPhone to the tripod, using a rubber band can help prevent damage and provide extra safety. The components that make up this sturdy tripod - including bolts, nuts, and washers - are inspired by a clever design on thingiverse, located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647. Feel free to use standard M4 parts if you prefer. Here's a quick rundown of my printer settings for this project: Printer Brand is RepRap. My specific Printer model is the Prusa i3 plus. I don't worry about Rafts; feel free to print with or without them as you like. I also opt for flexible printing when it comes to Supports; they're not essential for this design.
