My House using sketchup
thingiverse
I'm a designer by profession and not by engineering degree, so when designing the model I took some creative liberties. The Windows and Doors are pretty close to scale as I accurately measured them and made an honest attempt to space them using actual house measurements. I only printed this at normal settings with supports enabled because I'm essentially new to 3D printing, but hopefully it'll get easier with time and more practice. Print Settings: Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: Normal Notes: I scaled the design down by 60% after adjusting it for a Makerbot 5th Generation printer, which took approximately 10 hours and 30 minutes to complete. Post-Printing I used supports, so I carefully cut them away with an Exacto Knife as this is my first experience using a 3D printer; let's hope the next models I create are improvements.
