My Graber I3 improvements
thingiverse
I decided to revamp several components of my Graber I3 printer, which is turning out to be an even bigger undertaking. I've started building a new heatbed utilizing two aluminum plates, with one functioning as the heatbed baseplate. This upgrade significantly improved the stability and substantially enhanced the precision of Z axis calibration. Moving on, I designed a brand-new X-carriage that's still under construction, but it's working smoothly, even considering minor design issues. Next, I'll tackle the new X-ends and cable chains; then I'll think about crafting a housing for all these components. Please bear with me while I meticulously review everything again; soon, I'll update all parts that have already been tested and functioning correctly.
