I redesigned the original model using Sketchup 8 and exported it into various 3D file types from the start. Its default native format remains .skp while other formats have been optimized with conversions made. My 3dsmax scene runs on a 2016 version of 3ds Max, employing Vray 3.00 for precise renderings. The wheel and tire you see here were conceptualized as part of my upcoming project; feel free to utilize my design in your own projects as desired.
