My first alien

I recall my first encounter with an extraterrestrial being like it was yesterday. I had been warned about the possibility of encountering other life forms, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality of meeting one up close and personal. The moment I laid eyes on the being, I felt a sense of awe wash over me. Its appearance was unlike anything I had ever seen before - tall, slender, with skin that seemed to shift and change color like the shadows on a moonlit night. It regarded me calmly, its large, black eyes taking in every detail of my being. The alien spoke to me in a language I couldn't understand, but somehow I knew exactly what it was saying. It was as if our minds were connected, able to communicate without the need for words. We stood there for what felt like hours, simply existing together in silence. Eventually, the being reached out and touched my hand with its long, spindly fingers. A jolt of electricity ran through me, and I felt a floodgate of emotions open up inside. I was flooded with visions of distant worlds and civilizations, ancient histories and forgotten technologies. The experience left me changed forever, a newfound appreciation for the mysteries of the universe etched into my very being.
