HUMN wallet (https://humnwallet.com/) designs wallets in aluminum or carbon fiber that truly catch the eye. Seeking something more versatile, I opted to create a custom front plate similar to the HUMN design but enhanced to accommodate my essentials. The first prototype includes a narrow slot perfect for securing a Spyderco Panchenko dog-tag knife and an inviting groove where you can attach my 3D printed cover for a Space Pen bullet pen. As it stands, I am leaving room to add more functionality in future iterations. The current design won't offer much to anyone lacking these specific items, yet its existence could potentially inspire the creation of highly tailored wallets that fit diverse user preferences. Recent Updates: A modified v2 includes wider dimensions for the knife slot to improve stability. In addition, I adjusted some edges for better aesthetic appeal and added an elastic guide channel. The latest version, v3, integrates a compact SanDisk low profile USB thumb drive holder for convenient digital connectivity. Most recently, version 4 has been introduced featuring a built-in double-ended screwdriver bit measuring 1 1/2 inches. This addition allows users to switch seamlessly between driving both types of screws. Some specific tips when handling this component: - When storing the Phillips head and slot drive bits, remember that there's a small horizontal recess on the rear where you can insert the slot drive for better retention. Rotate the bit so it protrudes more whenever using it as a Phillips driver. **Printing Tips:** When printing your design, be sure to set the settings to Single Perimeter with an extrusion width of 0.40mm. This is necessary to prevent problems with the structural integrity of the piece over the slot where it lies. Any deviations might result in instability.
