My Drone looks Up
thingiverse
I needed a rapid "Look-straight Up" perspective on a compact drone with a non-motorized and non-Gimbaled camera. 1) This bracket is secured to the bottom of the camera using a small piece of velcro. 2) The mirror is a self-adhesive 2 cm mirror from Geek. 3) The angle of the bracket is set at 45 degrees. 4) Given that the camera has a wide-angle lens, there are 17 degrees on each side of the mirror. 5) The top half of the image displays the straight ahead view. Try adjusting the positioning of the mirror to one side, placing it closer or farther from the camera, and experiment with mounting two mirrors. If you mount it close, you can see the props; however, you can angle it out or move it forward to avoid the prop view.
