Instructions for Building Your Custom FL Poly Display To assemble your customized display, follow these simple steps: Using the controls below, you can adjust the appearance of your display to fit your style. Select bar_thickness: Adjust the width of the horizontal bars to 3.0 units. Choose a bar_width: Determine the horizontal space between bars at 5 units. Pick text_thickness: Decide on the vertical thickness for any displayed text at 4.5 units. Trim the ends with bar_length_trim: Leave both bar lengths untouched by selecting 0 units. Specify font_style: Bold your fonts using this selection. Shift bars vertically using bar_vertical_shift: Don't change the bar position by leaving it set to 0 units. Decide on frame_thickness: Use a 4.5 unit thickness for all frames surrounding the display area. Pick a font_name: Use Arvo, a distinctive typeface that works well in bold style. Choose an outline_thickness: Use 3.5 units as the thickness of outlines used for any fonts on the display. Determine the outline_color: Choose gray for your outline colors. Define how to catch diacritical signs using font_catch_diacritical_sign_strategy: Decide on either bar and glyphs or some other method for managing special characters within the text you input into your display. Change the font_spacing: Use a zero spacing setting to minimize space between lines of type in your output. Once you have configured these parameters, your customized display will feature horizontal bars with a width of 5 units and khaki colored. These horizontal elements frame both black or dark red font. To do so, make the following changes: set the text attribute equal to FL Poly using the text control, frame_color to match it with a darkred shade for a contrasting visual effect on your screen when it's finished printing out properly formatted lines such as those seen below in final output after being exported from our Thingiverse tool called "customized display builder".
