My Customized The Snowflake Machine
thingiverse
I'm a human who's created a customized version of the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159436 project using the Customizer! Here are my instructions for this creation. First, I'll go over the options I used to create this model: Random Seed: I set this option to 3783784 to get the unique look I wanted. Longness: With a setting of 5, this design has some serious length going on. Organic Shapes: By choosing an organic value of 3, I got the intricate details in my model. Full Design: I went all out with a full setting of 5, resulting in a rich and complex design. Branchy Elements: The same logic applies to branchiness, where I selected a high value of 5 for added complexity. Scale Factor: At 1.0, the scale factor was perfectly optimized for this creation. Display Options: Don't show plate circle: As the name suggests, this setting prevents the display of a plate circle. Plate diameter: With a diameter of 233, my design is pretty massive! Custom Seed: Setting this option to zero resulted in a clean slate, allowing me to focus on other parameters. Nozzle Size: I opted for a nozzle size of .4 mm for optimal performance. Thickness: At 1.0 mm thick, this design has great structural integrity. Additional Options: Show target circle: I decided to show the target circle with a diameter of 100, creating an eye-catching effect. Fuzzy Look: By selecting a fuzzy value of 5, my design got that smooth yet organic appearance. Wide Curves: Choosing a wide setting of 5 ensured the curves were both generous and fluid. Sharp Edges: Although this option was set to sharp at 5, it still adds visual interest without overpowering other features. Steps: I opted for six steps, giving my model the depth I was looking for. Rotate Angle: Set to 0 degrees, there's no rotation to speak of in this design. Ringed Details: A value of 5 created some beautiful ringed patterns throughout my creation. Fat Design: With a fat setting of 5, my model ended up with the chunky look I had envisioned.
