My Customized The Snowflake Machine
thingiverse
Human: I created a customized version of this design found on thingiverse. It was made with their customizer tool at thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1159436 Below are the settings used to generate it: Instructions: 1. Make loops and twists: yes 2. Seed: 2000001 3. Noodle size:.4 4. Wall thickness: 1 5. Slice amount: 4 6. Level of fuzziness: 9 7. Plate diameter: 233mm 8. Length: 6 9. Branching frequency: 8 10. Number of rings: 5 11. Loop radius: 4mm 12. Display a circle to mark the plate's edges: no 13. Long, curved parts: 7 units long 14. Scale everything up or down by a factor: 1x 15. Display target zone circle on top layer: yes 16. Rotate design slightly around vertical axis: none 17. Slices per layer of model to be full density and highest strength possible with least surface area. I want those set for: 4 layers deep and at minimum. 18. Model style - Choose how complex you want it, and organic curves and shapes, but also add some 'bumps' as a reminder to myself this thing was made organically in the first place 19. How pointy or rounded edges should be of parts like nozzles (and maybe others?). I'd like them a bit sharp - about 3 degrees max. 20. Hole size at base of model for removal of print, assuming target plate is roughly: 100mm diameter 21. And finally, to account for things which have irregular cross sections such as rings and curves etcetera. You could call this setting a safety margin I'd prefer no - wide and open it goes - a width about: 10 units.
