A Unique Creation Customized from Thingiverse This design is brought to you by a specialized tool that allows for customization, available at Thingiverse, one of the leading destinations for digital manufacturing projects. The customizer used in this process can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=383635. This application gives users extensive control over various parameters. Design Details Following are the specifics applied during the design process: - A specific pitch was set to 15 units, resulting in a unique spacing of teeth along the length. - The material thickness was kept at 1 unit, making it suitable for various printing methods and applications. - High-resolution geometry with 100 data points was achieved around the entire circle. This ensures smooth transitions and precise angles throughout the model. Internal Geometry To give this creation a distinctive touch, the following internal design parameters were chosen: - The bore shape was selected to be a twelve-sided polygon. This unique shape offers additional stability and support where needed. - A total of 7 teeth are spaced across the length. These were distributed evenly at every Number_of_teeth set points. The height of each tooth was calculated as a function of ToothPerN, where each number equals 2.5 units. Physical Measurements In order to ensure precise fitting and accurate performance, the bore diameter is exactly 2 units across. This setting allows for efficient operation in conjunction with related mechanical parts. Each individual tooth measures 1.5 units from its base to the tip of its crest. The outer diameter of this entire assembly comes out to be a perfect circle of ten units in circumference and five units in radius.
