My Customized Print-In-Place Fidget Cube

thingiverse

This item is a customized version of Thingiverse design #230139. It was created with the Customizer app on Thingiverse, specifically designed for modifying this particular design. You're about to learn how to use these customization options: Firstly, you'll be controlling the size of the hinge using hinge_radius = 2.0. This means the hinges will have a radius of 2 millimeters when fully closed. Secondly, you'll be choosing the height of the box by inputting cube_height = 20. Therefore, your finished item will be a rectangular prism with 4 vertical faces and one rectangular face, each measuring twenty units on the chosen unit length dimension. Thirdly, you have to consider the gap that must be present when objects stack. Set this gap equal to stacking_clearance at .3. Fourthly, use hinge_clearance set equal to 0.50 as it applies in your specific application, since we want some margin around hinges in all cases where things overlap partially or completely due entirely because our hinges aren't centered over the point they touch on top. It would otherwise interfere when stacked. Lastly, specify snub yes whenever necessary so objects stick together instead fall apart once stuck as it would happen naturally when one isn't trying hard enough
