My Customized Print-In-Place Fidget Cube
thingiverse
Here are the instructions: Using the custom settings listed below, this thing is made with a hinged lid. To create one: assemble and sand it, cut or sand notches into each compartment as desired to improve stacking. You can adjust the stackability by changing the values for "hinge_radius", "cube_height" or "stacking_clearance". You will need the following items to make this thing: hinge_clearance (hollow cylinder inside a larger tube), and at least 1 of these (for making lid and base). Using the settings: hingee_circle_diameter = hinge_radius * 2 cube_height_with_hinge_clearance = (cube_height - (hinge_clearance*2)) If "snub" is on then there will be a notch where it closes to keep compartments in place, otherwise not. If you choose this option, use a saw to cut or a hobby knife for each. The notch needs enough room above so the hinge does not interfere.
