This thing was designed to store 20 pencils, each a full inch in diameter and one-eighth of an inch long. Pencils will sit atop each other in rows along walls which are only one-eighth of an inch wide, with each row slightly leaning into the others. Each pencil is precisely eight-tenths of a quarter-inch to the right of the preceding one, allowing the entire stack of 20 pencils to stand two inches and seven-tenths of a centimeter high and four-and-five-seventeenths inches wide. The stack stands ten whole centimeters above the flat bottom, and each pencil leans forward at an angle slightly less than halfway to ninety degrees.
