Customized version of Thingiverse's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1339 Created with Customizer! Thingiverse app, at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1339 Using the following settings: Circle diameter is set to 7 mm. Number of teeth in the gear is adjusted to 30. Pitch diameter for the gear is specified as 45 mm. Teeth spacing width in the gear is fixed at 2 mm. Outer edge height from which the extrusion starts is set to 1 mm. Inner diameter of the hole that contains the gear is kept constant at 3 mm. Shaft or axle thickness has been adjusted to fit a diameter of 5 mm. Outer end addendum distance is maintained at 2 mm. Gear tooth angle, also known as profile relief, has been adjusted up to -5 degrees. Extrude outward with an opening size of 7 mm. Addend is still at default settings. Orientation for gear shape has changed and it is set to show -1 now. Outer extrusion width after which cutting or processing can start on a flat end or surface has not changed. Circle number represents the amount of circles, if you can call them that in this design that go all the way around the gear and will help keep balance during movement as each ring goes through full rotation on an average. Teeth spacing width remains at default. Outer extrusion diameter for gear with star cut is 3 mm. Gear's extrusion end, opposite side of input has changed height, also a fixed dimension is that there are exactly 7 mm more for height than in hole so we need adjust according to user inputs and needs before giving the model or drawing back. Tooth profile and angle both need review on a per-project basis as sometimes may want stronger grip, weaker teeth but wider diameter circle instead. Center shape adjustment: set default, but changed after recheck at design phase 5 with a total of 6 to represent 4 cut sections along this one axis while adjusting some inner dimensions in previous paragraph also for easier usage without being a math enthusiast; you may choose any setting that best suits your specific purpose whether creating an object for industrial manufacturing purposes or making personal craft models.
