Created with Customizer! http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=739573 Using the following settings: • Border thickness is set to 3.6. • Lug width is exactly five units wide. • The font name is Lobster, but there is no specified style for it yet. • The outline color chosen is a neutral Gray shade. • When coalescing glyphs, the strategy is to treat them like separate bars. • The font outline is set to be rounded. • The text is printed in a Deep Red hue. • An inner margin of 1 unit has been designated on both sides. • For this project, twenty-five characters per line is the standard setting for coalescing glyphs. • A minimal thickness of half a millimeter is maintained for the font outline. • Weight wise, this text is pretty lightweight – nearly negligible! • To separate each character by 1 unit of spacing is standard practice here. • We're using the English writing direction, with the left-hand side treated as the main entrance to read from. • Bare extruder assigned is the one used for normal printing tasks – extruder1. • This text is printed using the same bare extruder used for other texts – still extruder2 though. • Which ever option you choose doesn’t matter in this context – it’s a monochrome choice that just has no impact on this piece at all, whatever style or look it may give it does not impact this text • The trim for any of our bars has been set to zero by default - not much room left to cut anything else with • Setting border width to 0 ensures we get a completely clear look around these shapes when done. • As bar shifting goes, there isn’t too much – if needed we'll simply have to shift and correct the amount. • Ruler unit is being set at ten to provide better accuracy during measurements later down the road! • We're aiming high here with text thickness as per request; making sure it sticks out clear without looking overly done • When picking a bar color choose khaki - that seems a natural match • Distance from the lug can be increased to two units wide - leaving room around its base and allowing extra breathing space needed before connecting them. • The narrowed or widened setting in our fonts should have little impact here; thus default remains unchanged, so all other attributes like spacing take precedent here too giving us perfect legibility every single time.
