My Customized Message Keychain
thingiverse
I've created a customized version of the object you see at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:52734 using the Customizer app on that website. You can check out this specific custom job here: http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=52734. Now, let's dive into how to use this thing! To start with, choose your preferred settings: hole_radius: This option sets the diameter of holes. At present, it is set at 3 units. Font: Select the font that fits your needs here. For this job, I used write/orbitron.dxf, which you can pick from our extensive list if desired. stick_thickness: Set the thickness of stick-shaped objects with this option. It's currently configured to be 3 units. message: Use this space to input your own text or Brigitte as shown in this example. You can type up anything you like – I typed out 'Brigitte' for now. font_size: Determine how big you want the font to appear with this option. Right now, it's set at 10 units high and wide, so we can adjust that if necessary. font_thickness: The thickness of letters and shapes depends on this setting. Presently, it is set to 5 units. stick_width: Set the width of any stick-shaped objects here using this drop-down list. I picked 8 for now. flat_bottom: With a flat bottom of 2 units specified in our previous setup, we're all good! If needed, feel free to alter the flat-bottom measurement anytime you wish.
