Human: I am holding a customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:52761 in my hands right now. It was created with the Customizer! feature on http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=52761. Here's how to assemble this model: Using the options provided below, I am assembling the key slot as follows: Front slot Z offset = 3 layer thickness units Key blade length = 28.50 units Back slot Z offset = -2 layer thickness units from the back of the model The next options are set for the pin step size: I have selected [(key tslot height / 10), (key tslot height / 10)] Now I'm setting the Y offsets: Front slot y offset = [0.60, 0.00] units Back slot y offset = [2.75, 1.00] units The next option is for the length of the straight parts of the model: It's set at 27 and 22 units respectively. Key cylinder count = 5 I am selecting key cut codes: 9,9,9,9,9 for this assembly I've set key head diameter = [25,20] for both slots Cylinder width = [2.00,1.00] And the text separation is: [3.8, 3.5] units For type of key selection I am going with option number 0. Top slot angle is set at: 30 and 30 degrees I selected a polygon count of 5. Now top slot Z offset = [4 layer thickness , (3*layer_thickness)] Next option key blade height: It's set to 8.30 for the front key blade and 7.25 units for the back And for the next assembly options: Back slot angle is 210 degrees Key tip bottom angle = 225 degrees Top slotheight= [3.50, 3.50] Now select the build plate: I'm going with option 2. Assembly parameters start from first clyoffset: It's set to [6.00,5.00] units for each assembly. Style of key = option 1 The radius of the keyring is: [4.5,4.0] Next parameter: Key tip top angle = [58,50] Assembly Y offset calculations start here: Key tiptop offset calculation starts from [key bslot yoffset + (key bslot height)]. The next layer height and assembly type must match exactly as in: [(key bslot_yoffset + key_bslot_height),(blade_height - key_tslot_height)] for this model. Last calculated parameters: the next two layers calculate this key tip bot offset, keytipbotyoffset=[ (key bslot yoffset) , ((blade_height/2)) ]. Final parameters are here: Now start assembling from the top of this model using these custom options and instructions above.
