I'd love to give you some information on how I create customized 3D models, and today we're going to talk about this specific model that you can see right in front of you. It was created with a tool called the Customizer from Thingiverse, which is where all the magic happens. This custom model is a unique twist on a classic hexagonal shape. Here's how it works: you can customize this 3D print using several options. The first one is to set the size of your hexagon, including its radius and border width. Once you've chosen these two numbers, it's easy to move onto the next step: height and width. In our case, we chose a height of five and a width of sixty-three for our print. For our print length, however, things get interesting – did you know that our customized 3D model will have an extremely long lifespan? I like to think about this when creating any piece in life, whether it's physical or virtual! In our case though, the reason our hexagonal 3D model is so strong has a lot more to do with its thickness (also known as 'border_width'). If we make sure that border thick enough - around thirty units for this print- everything falls into place! Lastly, remember to experiment with new materials or printing techniques – who knows what amazing effects they could add to our 3D prints? That's it! That is all I have on creating these models using Customizer on Thingiverse
