The customization process involved setting parameters such as precision at 0.001, selecting shape number 3 as the base, and manually adjusting build plate dimensions to x = 100 and y = 100. An appendage of 40 was added, recursion was set to 4, and a custom shape defined by [[[1,-1.1],[2,0],[4,0]],[[0,1,2]]] was incorporated into the design. The build plate selector was kept at default value of 0.
