My Crappy Motor
thingiverse
I figured I'd give my take on it since others have done something similar. The design feels a bit cheesy without any specific requirements to follow. So far, it's just a simple holder for 6 magnets and a part where the windings will go; everything else will come later. Modeled in Blender because I can, not because it's necessary. Also, this thing isn't guaranteed to work, so you'll have to decide whether it's worth your time. --- Edit --- I added a casing piece. Two of those might be enough, but if not, I'll make the other casing half different for wires and stuff. Obviously, it will need wiring, bearings, magnets, and fasteners. Less obvious is that the nubs on the stator indicate winding groups, and holes through the stator parts are for putting string through to help anchor the windings. The rest is basic brushless motor knowledge that you can easily look up online; no specs are provided, so it's meant for experimenting and messing around.
