My Compact Arduino Boxes
thingiverse
I remixed my Arduino boxes, along with T70E's GoPro mounts. My revised Arduino boxes are now more compact in design. They feature open tops and bottoms for easy access. Two lids per box will be required - one on top and one on the bottom. The designs also include some custom GoPro mounts for straightforward mounting. Searching online, I found "Bolt Nut Screws for GoPro" and opted to use these screws instead of the original ones that were included with the T70E's design. They fit very well even without being screwed in place. Depending on your print setup, the lids might fit slightly loose into the boxes. I have some that fit tightly while others slide out. To address this issue, you can either heat up the legs and spread them out a little bit or glue the lid onto the box once your project is complete. The revised designs come in different configurations: 1 bay, 0 GoPro mounts, 0 nano access holes 1 bay, 0 GoPro mounts, 2 nano access holes 1 bay, 1 GoPro mount, 0 nano access holes 1 bay, 1 GoPro mount, 2 nano access holes 1 bay, 2 GoPro mounts, 0 nano access holes 1 bay, 2 GoPro mounts, 2 nano access holes 2 bays, 1 GoPro mount, 0 nano access holes 2 bays, 1 GoPro mount, 2 nano access holes 2 bays, 2 GoPro mounts, 0 nano access holes 2 bays, 2 GoPro mounts, 2 nano access holes These two boxes are 15mm tall with a 2mm bottom and can hold either one Arduino Nano or one Pro Mini. Here is the list of available lids: (1) 5mm LED (2) 5mm LEDs Arduino Nano or Pro Mini Blank HC-SR04 LM2596 PIR Relay(s) I slightly remixed the GoPro mounts to make them easier to fit. The original ones were quite tight and I was worried about damaging the boxes. By making all the slots 3mm wide, everything fits well now. Note: Depending on your specific print setup, you may need to adjust the designs or use additional tools to ensure a proper fit.
