I really enjoyed creating this project, despite having no formal design training - my lack of experience will be apparent. I highly recommend modifying it to suit your needs. Now for the messy part... I printed all the parts and glued the auger and chute halves together, which was made easier by the splits in them. The auger housing gets attached to the bottom of the HOPPAH! Sorry about that, let me get serious here... The chute is attached to the opening on the bottom of the auger housing, while the stand is glued to the flat part at the bottom of the auger housing. The auger fits into the auger housing and a cap is glued over the opening. I then fitted the servo/auger adapter to the servo and inserted it into the servo housing, gluing the housing to the back of the auger housing while ensuring the servo/auger adapter fit snugly into the auger end. It'll make more sense when you try it. Add candy, program an Arduino Micro 5V, and enjoy wondering why you went to all that trouble when you could just open the bag and eat the candy! OH!!!!!!!!! Very important note! I used SweetTart mini chewys as my candy, but anything of similar size should work. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask - I'll post pictures and a video of this in action soon. I printed it on a Prusa i3 MK2 printer. Since I hate supports, I positioned everything for non-support printing. I use 20% or 25% infill and print with PLA. You can use ABS if you prefer. The servo auger adapter was printed with 100% infill, 50% slower speed, random alignment, and the thinnest layer possible. I used generic dollar store super glue. I designed this using Tinkercad - it's not very impressive, but feel free to create something better and share it with me!
